If you then decide that your site requires Pro, migrate to Pro when you purchase ShipRush.

Basic and Pro target slightly different shippers:
Basic is for any UPS customer with a six-digit shipper number. Businesses in over 25 countries can easily get a 6-digit shipper number at www.ups.com. ShipRush Basic Edition can be used whether or not you have daily pickup.
Pro is for USA based shippers with UPS daily pickup service. Pro is a UPS OnLine Compatible application. UPS only allows daily pickup customers to use OnLine Compatible applications like WorldShip and ShipRush Pro Edition.

[1] The “Pickup Summary Barcode” (the document scanned by the driver at time of pickup) is not needed when using internet-based systems, such as www.ups.com, Paypal, and ShipRush Basic Edition. At pickup time, if the UPS driver asks for an end of day barcode, simply say that www.ups.com was used to process the shipments, and a bar code is not created and is not needed. If the driver still thinks an end of day is required, point out the ‘bow tie’ box that is printed in the lower right corner of the shipping label—this should be the signal to the driver that an end of day barcode is not needed. There is no limit on the number of shipments a driver will take without a bar code. If the parcels are properly labelled, the driver is required to take them.

[3] Contract rates will be billed on the UPS invoice, but by default will not show in ShipRush. ShipRush always shows published UPS rates, but what is shown does not control what you will be billed. You will be invoiced at your contract discount rate in all cases. When using ShipRush Pro, the ShipRush rate tables can be modified to reflect a shipper's contract rates.
[4] It is not required to use the ShipRush document generator. Shippers can create international paperwork using www.ups.com, or create Commercial Invoices using any accounting program (or even just a work processor like Word or even Notepad). See www.ups.com for details on required paperwork for international shipments.
[5] Offers the same address validation function offered by www.ups.com. Validates the city/state/zip for destinations in the USA. Automatically sets the Residential indicator on most shipments.
[6] This is the ShipRush Address Validation feature, and offers both city/state/zip and street address checking. It also automatically sets the Residential indicator on most shipments, and detects missing apartment and suite numbers in most cases.
[7] If the billed-to account has a contract that offers discounts on shipments billed via third party billing, then the discount will be applied. Some contracts may only offer discounts for shipment origination (aka Prepaid Discounts). Contact your UPS Account Executive to discuss this subject.
